You become what you repeat; you begin to be who you actively choose to be. This  thesis visually presents the process of creating and building a relationship with the self, through  time in isolation with the use of disintegrating ceramic multiples.  

       Being in isolation has put into light the flaws in our system, shifting our focus to both  the small and large scale issues of daily living and national reality. The act of taking a step back in order to look at what we have, assessing what can still be remedied and  being at peace with what can no longer be changed and controlled, helps us in taking the chance to transform how everyday life can be made more harmonious, starting with the root of it all--  ourselves.
