The thesis is an articulation of the artist's frustration and overstimulation regarding his cramped and domestic space. The plethora of objects which include appliances, furniture, and personal belongings form a distinct visual texture and is articulated along with the artist's feelings of aggression, helplessness, and lack of control due to constant contact and crowding felt from other cohabitants of the space. The use of the ballpoint pen and the technique of drawing demonstrate a need for control and simulates the act of documentation or testimony akin to writing. Moreover, the thesis implies the significance of the senses in the perception and management of space and echoes the greater call for better living conditions and housing as well as public spaces.
